That's true but also remember that if people don't contact to hear your story, they aren't your friend or someone to keep in your life. If they can believe the 'story' without it, then they think of you the same way. Don't waste time trying to get them to hear you, it won't matter or change anything.

What I didn’t realise is that the smearing had been going on for absolute years and years (30 to be exact). By the time I was ready to tell the truth nobody wanted to listen. Those lies became their reality. I just walked away. Everyone took his side. He cheated the whole time while I stayed home, looked after our daughter and everything else.
