not michelin star, recommendation 😉 and pad thai..my Thai and family dont like pad thai eat sometimes only..

If it’s being touted by social media types, that means you should generally avoid it. So many authentic Thai restaurants in Bangkok, I enjoy finding the “hole in the wall” types.

that's the very first restaurant we went to the first time we went to Thailand. I didn't get it tho, not even slightly. it was like 11€ a portion when considering it's usually 1.5€ everywhere it's insane and it was so bland. I'd like to try again tho cause we didn't use the sauces on the table and ordered like the basic pad Thai I think so I wouldn't mind giving it another go but there's a place next to the theater in BK which was insane good, called something like "the Eatery" or whatever and if we ever go to BK again we'll probably just go there tbh

Thai people don’t really eat pad thai too much. It’s mostly farangs who eat it. You will not see a Thai person promoting pad thai to thai customers. There are many other delicious dishes available in Thai cuisine
