there’s a strange hate to musicals like people don’t take it as seriously but it’s still arts and performing arts !!

I think that it’s because musicals have become a trend, people hear a tiktok sound and then go see the musical and they aren’t actually INTO musical theatre but plays arent AS known so people who go see them are people who actually enjoy them iykwim 🙏🙏

okay but this so real i’ve been to two plays and the etiquette was just so much better then all the musicals i’ve been too!!
