I’ve taught my kids that periods are so normal and healthy to discuss and there is zero embarrassment. They are 15 and 11 now so it’s very normal in our home but my daughter has totally normalized it amongst her peers and I’m so proud of her. I told her she doesn’t need and shouldn’t hide those things when going to the bathroom or asking a male teacher to go if she has concerns. Making men comfortable regarding our bodies is so disgusting. Proud to be contributing to a change
