I would 100% recommend getting a build a bear with a recording button inside, an orange cat that when you press its tummy it says “Mama…Piglet” because hearing it is so cute!! 🥹❤️What a saint in that surgeon! 🫂

So pleased that everything turned out well. I agree Sheffield Childrens Hospital is 💯amazing! As a mum , grandma and great grandmother I have lost count of the times that hospital has literally been a life line. My eldest would not be here if 43 yrs ago they had not been angels in disguise. So much love to you and piglet xx

I'm so glad that the lovely surgeon managed to sort Elisabeth out. Poppy's button used to get stuck sometimes, and also wouldn't go in at times. Her stoma was at a slight angle so we had to make sure the button was at that same angle to get it out 🤦🏽♀️. I just thought it was worth mentioning in case you end up in this situation again xxx

Feeling this HARD this weekend - I was in A&E myself on Friday with a feeding tube issue and was told I’d have to be admitted until it could be changed on Monday, then the interventional radiologist (and his colleagues) agreed to stay late on a Friday to change my tube. I’ve woken up in my own bed the last two mornings and I’m so grateful. Nothing like the words “we’re going to admit you” to send you into fight or flight mode 🫣 you’ve reminded me to take a minute and breathe, thank you x
