I'm so well known at my local Italian place, because I order delivery through the app everyday, that when I went in for the first time and said my name they all ran out from the kitchen like I was a celebrity. They told me my first name, last name, every app I order from, every family member I've ever sent in to pick up and when they connected the dots that it was all me. They all said they were waiting for the day we'd meet. When my family would order for me they would correct my family and say "Nah, she prefers this. No offense but I'm just going to make it the way she likes it. Just come get it." And when they found out the reason I order so much is because I'm on bedrest for several months and I went a few days without ordering they figured out how to gift food to my house (because they couldn't get my address through the apps) and they wrote paragraphs of writing all over the outside of my bag telling me to contact them immediately and asking if I was alright. I bawled my eyes out. No one else checked on me and I actually WASN'T alright. My pain had gotten worse and I kept telling myself it was in my head but I wasn't getting up anymore and the check in pushed me to get myself to the hospital and they found a rupture and internal bleeding. Having good connections with people can save your life. 😭❤️
