I feel like Dave has the second saddest lore Since he Was a Chief of The RSU he would get made fun of every time by everyone because of his nationality, nobody liked him to the point he sneaked a chainsaw to kill his co workers but that day, The outbreak happened So instead of killing his coworkers he sacrificed himself and used the chainsaw to fend off the infected saving multiple people Till he got Surrounded And infected.

Out of all these mini-bosses or bosses, I would agree with Mikhail that he kind of had a sad story. He was praised by the locals, he had a wife, a child, and he still kept the drawing probably from the locals or his son, even when he had a condition called Heterochromia which Is a rare condition where a person has different colored-eyes.

Gilbert is the second most saddest because the sector he is in is where Troy (chimera) was supposed to meet back up (i think idk lol) and Gilbert stays waiting for his friend, lowk sad because he doesn’t know what happened to him

I feel Sin and Yakov are the least saddest since canonically they seemingly went in as mercenaries than started killing soldiers trying to clear the spot. Whatever about possible menlonian war crimes (idk if there’s any actual rusonian’s stuck in there) they kill soldiers in unfair fights and prevent actual help being done ignoring the work liquidators need to do.

All that happened to Mihail is that his brother died (Yes, it’s very sad) but compare it to Yakov’s. He got pulled out of middle of nowhere to fight for his country. His head got burned and he HAS to wear them bandages otherwise people would get disgusted of him. And he is using an incendiary shotgun to overcome his fear of flames. Just to die to MGF like an useless prey. Unable to save his commander, soliders ans his own people.

Gilbert could debatably be the saddest though. He’s in constant agony and killing people he dosent wish to harm and he can’t even control it
