The new system really discouraged me. Nung graduation namin sa elementary, I was with honors. I really liked having awards not just because of my parents but because I have something to be proud of except just using my phone all day and bedrotting. But the new system is stressing me out, because on my last school wala na ngang perfect attendance award sobrang strict pa. DepEd might want to help students, but some of us are actually struggling to keep up Lalo na sa new transmutation system. I feel sad not only for me, but for the younger students who'll not only get pressured by their parents, but by the system narin. Okay lang Sana kung highschool students lang like me, matatanggap ko pa yun because some of us are old enough to carry all the pressure, but elementary students just want to have fun. Why let them carry the weight of having to worry about grades din? I know na they just want to motivate us and lessen our pressure, but the younger students are struggling din. I know so many students who struggle like me because of the new system, and it's really sad. Please fight for our happiness! We need to enjoy school, not just worry about reviewing and sleeping late because of activities!! Let kids be kids!

I'm sorry but other peoples jealousy issues are their own fault, why do we academic achievers have to adjust for them? it's not our fault that they are incompetent and cannot achieve what we have. imagine you work so hard to get line of 9 and no reward at the end? what kind of fuck up system is that. these government people really are scared to have educated voters because it means their position is at stake, I cannot accept that after 4 months of hardwork, weeks of pure stress and sleepless nights. I won't get a reward, I won't get the only thing I've been grinding for since day one. DEPED you really are getting on my nerves.

“Removing the awardings every quarter causes less comparison. It’s so students don’t get envious and jealous.” Honestly, that mindset shouldn’t be normalized. We’re all human and lahat tayo naiinggit, but it is our responsibility to grow up and not let our toxic mindset affect other’s success. The motivation should be achieving things for ourselves, not getting ahead of everyone else. I see no problem in awarding every quarter. It’s basically saying we have 4 chances to do our best and improve. Removing it discards very student’s hardwork. Every effort a student makes should be recognized and celebrated. I will die on this hill‼️

to be honest, I like the new system/curriculum. Especially because of the new transmuted grading system. And as a student-athlete and academic achiever, I love how it actually challenges me unlike the old curriculum. I get how most are upset with the change, but it can be a chance to prove you can do it! to my fellow students, never lose hope:) We can do this !🥹💗

imagine if sci high ka which initially mahirap na nga makapasa with additional subjects tapos ganito yung bagong grading system. burnout ka na dati, mas burnout ka pa ngayon. and it's not just the sci highs who will have it hard. students will not be rewarded despite their hard work and will be facing difficulties when it comes to their sense of accomplishment. Deped must've thought of this through. Students are being guinea pigs again

Meron kasing pros and cons yung pag wala nang awards every end ng term. Yung pros niya ay hindi na masyadong ma p-pressure yung ibang students na makasama pa sa honorlist, hindi ko na i-elaborate ha, SO LESS PRESSURE. Ang downside naman ay pwedeng ma discourage or mawalan ng motivation ang ibang students, which means, MORE UNMOTIVATED AND DISCOURAGED STUDENTS.
