Babe, clean it for them but teach them how to do it. Make them to easy tasks. Show them what is happening when they trow thing under the bed etc. My mother used to clean for us and made us watch her and do easy tasks. With time we got to clean our rooms by ourselves and later the whole house. I do not clean anymore since I have help now, but I know exactly what to ask for. I will leave this comment always. My bff moved with her boyfriend from her mother s house. One month later she was overwhelmed with the fact that the house gets messy. 2 months in she wanted to end the relationship because she didn t learn to deal with it. Her mom did everything alone when she was at school or working. She neveeeer saw her clean. Never ! She cried for months, so so overwhelmed. My cleaning lady went to her and teach her everything. Not to become a cleaning lady just to handle stuff like washing the dishes.She was 35 and she didnt know how to do it. So do not make your children be overwhelemed when they are adults. Make them independent, autonoms. They will love you more and respect you even more. My friend was pissed with her mom !

Girl mine are adults and well able to clean their rooms but sometimes it’s nice for them after they’ve been at college and work for them to come home to a tidy room 🥰

Wait is it not normal to clean your child's room. As kids we tidyed our room and our mum cleaned it and I do the same for my kids I thought that was normal.

People hate you cleaning their room?! My son is 7 & while we try to get him to tidy his room a bit (dirty clothes at least in the laundry basket) I think cleaning is a bit beyond him yet!
