Matsuei lleva más de cinco décadas convirtiendo la tradición japonesa en una experiencia gastronómica en Lima. Fundado en 1973, fue uno de los restaurantes pioneros de la cocina japonesa en el Perú y contó entre sus primeros itamaes con Nobu Matsuhisa y Toshiro Konishi.
