We DO teach it in high school, but a parent has to do SOME things! You can’t just rely on the school system to raise the kid you birthed. Teach them to garden, sew, etc while you’re at it because we have enough on our plates!

They DO teach that in schools. But it’s very important for parents to reinforce and continue practice at home. Great tool for home!

Every life skill needs to be taught in the home. That’s a parents responsibility. The same as Bible/scripture study. The school and the church are support to the family unit not the other way around.

As an educator, I can say financial literacy is absolutely taught in school. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. It is taught in all grades. This is the kind of game teachers use as a tool for learning in the classroom.

No, because you are a parent and it's your responsibility to teach financial skills.

now teach them to stand behind the til, wear a blindfold, and identify coins by touch/placement. multiplication tables up to 12x12 needs to be memorized in their head and fingertips to succeed at counting change by touch.
