The bloat is real and it peaks right AFTER egg retrieval, which was shocking for me. I remember my doctor told me it would subside within 4-6 days. It was insane how exactly 5 days after, it all disappeared. I remember feeling how huge and overwhelmed I felt, but it all goes away so quickly and then you almost forget just how bad it was. Our bodies are incredible 🤍

Drink lots of water and eat a high sodium meal right after retrieval! The salt helps pull the water out of your cells to help the bloat. And before anyone tries to come with some comment I’m an RN, my husband is an OBGYN and it was my REI who told me this.

Honestly my worst bloating was after the egg retrieval. I looked so pregnant and so uncomfortable. Didn’t go away until my first period following which was probably the worst period of my life. Awful 😢 good luck to you! ❤️
