Yes that’s how my wife’s psychiatrist sounded when she wanted to threat her depression with SSRI… ( spoiler she had adhd undiagnosed al her life and instead of giving proper medication guidance and treatment she told her good luck made her self aware about her issues )

I got diagnosed when I was 13 and I think they must have tried everything because they don't even try to put me on medication anymore.

She fired me after I told her I didn’t trust her judgement when it came to those type of meds 🤷🏻♀️well I usually keep things to myself but I’m learning to speak up and I’m realizing ppl don’t like when you find your voice

I don't have bipolar but literally watching myself go from flactuating between deppression n normal to deppression, normal, and euphoric like state that's progressing each episode because of antidepressants. Not to mention the hard crash i feel the next day.

You can take an SSRI you just need an antipsychotic and mood stabilizer to even it out.

It is actually not wrong in depression phase to prescribe antidepressants along with mood stabilizers, so 🤷🏻♀️
