each parent has their own rules at their home and there is nothing anyone can do about it. my boys absolutely know that their step mother is the MOTHER in their father's house and will respect her like they do me, period. teaching your children to not listen to adults just because that's "not your parent" and not to follow rules put in place, goes much farther than just the 1 household. that's teaching them that anyone who isn't your parent they do not have to listen to, which is not how life works. I'm lucky to have the women in my boys life's that help their dads take care of them. to be honest, if it were just dad, I would be a shit show over there 😂 I co parent with my boys step mothers because my ex husbands irritate my soul and I like their wives better than them.

Some are very loud and very wrong. Not every babydaddy wanna get back w his babymama and vice versa. And not every new wife is obsessed or bitter. Me and my oldest kids dad were literally terrible for each other, I get along w his wife wayyy better than I ever did him lmfao. Probably because uhhh idk, I have respect for her and their relationship and I let her be part of my son’s life. She ain’t harming him in anyway and I let her have a voice in his parenting as well. It’s not that hard unless you ARE obsessed and bitter bc IF they are both trying and doing their part, why tf take that from your CHILD

my husband's ex used to show their two kids all the presents he bought for her and they would have to sit with her and hold hands and cry over them. the kids would come to our house absolute emotional disasters! the courts ended up proving alienation but she took them and moved anyway eventually my husband drained his retirement fighting for them but in the end they were such a mess that continuing to battle in court just made things worse for them. There needs to be harsher laws against parental alienation and judges willing to convict.

If that man was truly your problem let him go and pray he’s better to the next but either way he’s no longer your problem. Find something better for you.
