I’m hyper-independent because my whole life anytime someone has offered help or try to do something nice it’s turned into something transactional and thrown in my face so I’d rather just do it all myself and not deal with the feeling of owing someone

I was happily married once…. I would ask for him to it… 2 seconds later I did it myself every. Damn. Time. I put my baby’s crib together myself cause two men with zero patience makes chaos and a crooked baby bed. Me and and my mind…. 5 mins.. done. Quiet. Peaceful. It’s my relax time.
