I agree with tatay sa part na ang mga magulang nangangapa, nakikiramdam. Ang hirap maging parent sa generation ngayon kasi ayaw mong maramdaman ng anak mo na controlling ka, pinapangunahan mo or baka magcause ka ng trauma.

this is only applicable to those parents that are ready to listen and understand their childs words and feelings. but when you try to open up to those parents that feels and thinks like they are always right, it will only create a bigger conflict and the child will only end up getting scolded, hurt, and carry more resentment. so to those future parents today, please prepare yourself first, make sure you are emotionally matured/stable to handle things like this with your kids. let's break the cycle where childrens are afraid of expressing their feelings, let's create a home where they feel secured, seen, loved, and cared. a home where they can open up their own struggles, a home they can express their feelings without thinking that they will only end up wronged, without them thinking they wouldn't be heard and understood.

For once i challenged my dads decision. I thought i was right that i make a stand against his will ,only for me to realize it later that some decisions are made not for the better results but for the experience of failure and resilience . Dad handed me the rod ,so i can fish for myself , i am what i am because of his absence and that i owe him my future.

I don't invalidate what his thoughts are, it's just that minsan ganon din yung mga bata. Nakikiramdam sa magulang, minsan tinatanya yung mood kung yun ba yung tamang timing para magsabi. Kasi minsan nakikita namin na pagod or medyo mainit ang ulo, minsan ayaw nalang din namin magsabi hanggang sa hindi na namin masasabi at all. Gaya ng mga magulang na nag aantay sa mga anak nila, ganon din kami.
