@fusionaminos75: Steven Bartlett asks Dr. Alex Tatem a simple question: “Give us a high-level view of what peptides can help with.” Dr. Tatem’s answer is exactly why I find this space so fascinating. 🧬 He discusses the growing field of peptide research and touches on areas including fertility, metabolic health, weight management, skin quality, gut health, sleep, recovery, and even research involving pathways associated with melatonin production and circadian function. But it’s where he takes the conversation next that really stuck with me. His perspective is essentially: it’s becoming less about what peptides can do and more about what they can’t do; and if they can’t accomplish something yet, can we develop a peptide that can? Think about that for a second. 🤯 That doesn’t mean every peptide or proposed benefit has been proven. Far from it. But it speaks to the potential researchers see in using peptides to target very specific biological processes. That’s what keeps me so interested in this space. We’re learning what’s possible today while researchers continue exploring what could be possible tomorrow. 🧬🔬 Educational purposes only. Many peptides remain investigational, and evidence and regulatory status vary significantly by compound. #Longevity #peptide #diaryofaceo
