i was a scare actor for almost ten years. no one who works there thinks less of anyone for having the necklace/pass. anyone any age can have it and it’s respected because frankly, it’s not my business how you have fun in a way that’s safe for you—my business was providing that fun. people are being absolutely weird af in these comments 🙄

Guys, it isn't about liking horror or not, it's about how you want to engage with the genre. Passive viewing of horror is sometimes enough adrenaline without having to tricking your limbic system into thinking you're being attacked

This could be a game changer for people with heart conditions. I love horror but the last time I went to a scare housing between the physical exertion and the jump scares my heart rate jumped over 200 bpm on multiple occasions

"whats the point of going" you can still appreciate the actors and the horror atmosphere without wanting to be touched by complete strangers working a performance. I think jump scares are dumb and cheap, doesnt mean I quit watching horror movies all together.

Everyone who doesn’t get it… it’s not for you. I love horror and seeing scare actors but being creeped up on/ ppl getting in my personal space gives me panic attacks. You experience everything except having actors up in your grill how could that possibly be a waste of money

Maybe, just maybe, people enjoy getting scared WITHOUT jumpscares? My mom had a heart condition, so I get the risk involved with sudden scares. And some people want to go just for the decor & vibes. So this is a good idea to still make it inclusive for everyone.
