And even done right, it only lifts surface stains. Naturally yellow teeth won't budge with this. My honest take: use them separately. Baking soda on your brush here and there to neutralize and polish. Peroxide very diluted and only on occasion. Mixing them into one paste creates a reaction you just don't need.
