@mrphoenixgrey: Replying to @Greg Tech is unavoidable; and honestly, I've made my peace with it. What I haven't made peace with is treating it as an afterthought. A TV is often one of the largest objects in a room, which means it has enormous power over the way a space looks and feels. The question was never whether to include it, it's how to make it work for the room, not against it. These are the rules I follow when integrating a TV into a design. Because it goes far beyond picture quality. It's about the speakers, the source of glare, the mounting format, and how every one of those decisions either supports or undermines the room around it. I hate TVs. I live alone so I haven't owned one in years. A black rectangle on your wall constantly? It's so ugly. Taking up 2/3 of your wall is insane. That's wall space you could use for art. Samsung's frame seems acceptable. I'll have to resort to a designated TV room if I ever get a house with a man. That shit's not going in my living room
