@dayanabakes: If a brownie and a cake had a baby 😍🤭 Literally the most chocolaty cake I have ever made. AMAZINGGG 🤎 One pot Matilda chocolate cake 🍫✨ PSA 🚨: I made this entire cake in the same pot for an easy, low effort recipe with minimal dishes but you can absolutely mix everything in a separate bowl first and then pour the batter into your pot/pan to cook. Both ways work 🤎 Cake * 3 cups all purpose flour * 1¼ cups unsweetened cocoa powder * 2 cups granulated sugar * 1 tsp baking soda * 1½ tsp salt * 3 large eggs * 1½ cups whole milk * ¾ cup neutral oil like vegetable/canola * 1 tbsp vanilla * 1½ cups HOT coffee 1. Put your empty pot on the counter, not on the burner. 2. Crack the 3 eggs directly into the pot. 3. Add the 2 cups sugar and whisk together. 4. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla → whisk. 5. Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt then mix. 6. Slowly add the hot coffee then whisk until smooth. Bake at 350°F for 45–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Start checking around 45 minutes. 🍫 Microwave Chocolate Soaking Sauce In a microwave safe bowl or measuring cup, mix: * 1 cup whole milk * ½ cup sugar * ¼ cup cocoa powder * 2 tbsp butter * 1 tsp vanilla * Pinch of salt Do this: 1. Whisk the milk, sugar, cocoa, and salt together. 2. Microwave for 60 seconds. 3. Stir really well. 4. Microwave another 30–45 seconds, just until it’s hot and the sugar is dissolved. 5. Stir in the butter and vanilla. CHOCOLATE GANACHE: For a nice thick chocolate layer: * 1 cup chocolate chips * ½ cup heavy cream * 3 tbsp butter Make it: 1. Put the chocolate chips in a bowl. 2. Heat the heavy cream until it’s hot and steaming but not boiling. 3. Pour it over the chocolate. 4. Let it sit for 2 minutes then add butter. 5. Stir everything until completely smooth and glossy. Let it cool for a few minutes while your cake absorbs the chocolate milk then pour on top of your cake #EasyRecipe #bakingrecipe #bakingtiktok #fallbaking #fallrecipes
