I hated it and refunded it, it's so clankly, people are already ganging up on Michael to where he can't do anything, trying to evacuate survivors is not fun, and the running animation is ass. It's just not for me.

I use to love dbd but the community is just toxic and trash (most of them not all) but Halloween the game refreshing i love playing both sides civilian and Micheal so much you could do as a civilian and jump Micheal and its so fun jumpscaring and splitting up the civilians and prox chat its fun listening to folks scream or sound scared some of this game are fun and some are miserable but the game did just come out and its in my opinion so much better than dbd epically the community is better for sure so far.

Coming from a dbd player myself I think the reason why dbd players hate this game so much is that they fear Halloween will become competition with dbd and make the devs balance the game and not have it be so survivor sided and also jealous that they lost Michael and Laurie what they see a lesser game

As a DBD player I haven’t gotten Halloween yet but it does bum me out how everyone is hating on it sooooo hardcore with no grace. I did hear the bugs are extremely bad so maybe they should have pushed the release date, but regardless I’m excited to try it out! I’m just gonna give them a little time to figure their bigger issues out 🥴
