There is no fictional couple that outdoes them. It’s normally the guy who is morally grey & the girl who is innately kind. Suzanne is the only one to write a female heroine with trauma who could so easily have been written as a villain & a boy who still sees the truth of her, the good in her. This is in direct opposition of stories like Feyre & Rhysand or Tris & Four or practically any of the others. SJM tried with Nesta & Cassian but they still don’t hold a candle to the gentle understanding between these two. I truly to explain this to everyone I know but I hope every 16 year old girl reads these books instead of for example Twilight. Peeta & Katniss are genuinely the sweetest most gentle love story in existence. He is a nice guy in a way that isn’t asking for anything or weird. He is a class in true kindness in male form.
