depending on which filament you use, I never let that happen. for instance geeetech and jayo filament aren't taped down and have a hook on the end of the filament and its a guaranteed ams block

Same with single color print, if you finish printing and filament is left in the tube without touching ams sensor to retract it just purges out what's left in the tube
