Well in Christianity, God incarnated dwelt amongst creation and laid his life down so you could have eternal life. Whether you believe the theology or not is up to you but Jesus’s public ministry is a testimony to him being a personal God not a abstract concept

1000%, you would assume God created us to have an intimate relationship with us. Yet in the Islamic paradigm the reality would be Allah forever exists by himself as he isn’t essentially love as he doesn’t even love himself

i think people just don’t want to accept the possibility that outside of this world, there is no all loving creator. there may be some higher power sure, but a being who genuinely wanted to see you succeed and get to heaven would surely give much clearer guidance and not send you on a wild goose chase debating on if they exist or not
