I don’t understand how grandparents feel that it’s not wrong to act badly in-front of their grandkids but it’s wrong for the kids parents to decide they don’t want a bad influence in their kids lives? At some point the grandparents need to ask themselves why their pride is more important than the grandkids.

When grandma and grandpa did some terrible things and I cut them off, I was prepared to explain some things to my older teen (my adult child easily cut them off.) only to find out when it happened my older teen immediately blocked them both, without a second thought 🥲 poor kid already knew how terrible they are
