PETERSBURG, Fla. — Pinellas County deputies say they're investigating a confrontation last week in a neighborhood near Gulfport, where three college students, going door-to-door for their summer car detailing service, were approached by a man with a gun. The video given to 10 Tampa Bay News by 20-year-old Giovonnie Lenhart, who took out his cell phone when he saw the gun, “to record whatever moments I had left." It shows a man coming up to Lenhart with a handgun at his side, demanding to know why the teens are in the neighborhood. “Can you please put that away?” Lenhart says. “If you want to f*** people on the street, you've got the wrong street,” the man says. “You got me? There's a lot of f***ing guns on this street.” Lenhart started 2 Clean Whips, a mobile car detailing and window-washing business, last month with his St. Petersburg College friends, Alekos Speaker and Santi Salinas. “We all just like decided to come together and make the business and just make it happen,” Speaker said in an interview Tuesday. “We thought of car detailing because we've been seeing others do it online.” #news #truecrime #racism
