I had cervical cancer in the 70s when I was in my teens and without the yearly pap. It started very slowly but because cells reproduce very quickly when we are young it advanced and they couldn’t control it. They actually used me in the grand rounds at the hospital to show how fast cancer can spread when we are young. But without the exam I would never have known. Even when it was advancing I felt no pain. And yes I was sexually active in my teens. So please go. It saved me it could save you too.
