Lowkey can't agree with you on Jazz. Jazz had a history of being Black coded in the original G1 cartoon. A lot of tye shit you have issue with is Micheal Bay's interpretation. What he did with the twins was way more abysmal.

Or, caveat here. Knowing that the transformers had to literally absorb our entire Internet to learn how to fit in; Jazz literally saw the history of Black people and then as an actual alien still decided that he wanted to be like us, that he identified with us. I think it’s a little stronger from jazz’s point of view in the narrative that an actual alien, and Autobot who wanted to fight tyranny from the decepticons, wanted to be part of one of the most marginalized groups in America. Now from a writers perspective, Michael Bay and them were just being racist and trying to fill their diversity quota 🤣 so fuck them 😂

Those twins you mentioned are far more deserving of this level of criticism than the historically black-coded Tansformer primarily voiced by black men. '07 Jazz said ONE outta pocket thing, whereas most every line of the twins' dialogue was proper nonsense...and half of it was from non-black VA Tom Kenny. Not for nothing their appearances come off as racist caricatures, while Jazz's was a badass Cybertronian. Overall, despite that intro, the few lines of dialogue Jazz had were much more dignified. Jazz also had a confirmed higher station (second to Optimus), though I'll admit the movie didn't illustrate that enough. Jazz dying in '07 was largely disappointing...the twins were so bad they were unceremoniously cut from DotM.
