I'm from Kyiv, and it's funny that we actually call Friday evening's traffic "evacuation day" for years. And on Sunday evening (when everyone comes back) is the "Reclamation day", cuz this whole traffic is reversed back to the city.

People need to realize that some legit can’t leave. I work for my local government in Florida. We have been told that we cannot leave during a hurricane, even if it’s a cat 5, or we will lose our job because we are needed when the winds go down. Just saying….

yeah, basically every morning and evening when people are commuting to and from work, especially across the Dnipro river, we have this level of traffic. Which becomes extremely slow especially during air raid alerts, because public transport either stops or halves

No, that’s not. I’ve been to Ukraine many times part of it is people evacuating and part of it is gas issues. Yes people have to go to work so there’s a mixture of people there too. If that was people on the way to their jobs, Ukraine would be broke.🤣🤣
