I have followed your grief journey since your wife passed on and at times just like this one, I have been in awe of your bravery in opening up about your grief and how you've navigated through it, even on those days when it has overwhelmed you. It has been a source of reassurance and guidance that I certainly needed when i lost my best friend two years ago, so to see how far you've come i am also proud of you and i'm sure your wife will be too 😊

Grief counselling has done so much for me, I have been in it about 2 1/2 years and I’m finally seeing an end in sight. It’s not only helped me process my grief and triggers but also let me understand other parts of my life where grief also has a knock on effect. It’s given me the strength and knowledge around coping with my triggers and given me the space to talk freely without judgement. This is such an amazing thing and I’m so proud of you! I read something really lovely the other day that someone commented on a different video. Someone had wrote “When light touches someone or something, even just sunlight on an ordinary day, it bounces off and keeps traveling through space. Since light takes time to move, someone 1 light-year away would see Earth as it was 1 year ago. Far enough away, and in theory, they could still see the age of dinosaurs. And that means the light that once touched the people we love, the places we miss, and the moments we wish we could hold onto are still out there, still moving. The past doesn't fully disappear. It changes form. It travels. And maybe there's comfort in knowing that nothing is truly lost in the universe. It only becomes something else.” 💜
