Could be beautiful but there is chain link fence, a highway, the beach is a skinny sliver since they put a highway/ parking lot on it and the bathrooms there are DEPLORABLE. Was not at all what I was expecting when I went there for the first time. Felt like a dump.

That’s Malibu lagoon & Surfrider. There’s a beach to the north called Ranger Steven’s beach aka The colony that is my favorite.

That’s actually a lagoon. Extremely vital for the local birds. So cool you finally made it. Before the ridge dam was put in, salmon and trout would swim up the river from the oven into hr lagoon into Malibu creek

I’ve been here for 30 years and I love finding a new beach. I’ve been just north, and just south of that spot but never at that exact beach. Paradise! Glad you had a good beach day.
