My manager found me and I made sure they were legit through linked in & I ended up having a mutual that had the same manager because my manager provided a list of other creators he has worked with so that made me feel more comfortable to sign with him once I knew he has legitimately worked with others in my niche!

Maybe look at content creators you like and then see if they have a contact email in their profile which will have the management company name in it or who the manager is.
