Mr. Jawar Mohammed is hiding the truth. He has been reluctant to call what happened in Tigray by its proper name. The atrocities have been described by the U.S. Department as ethnic cleansing, yet he still uses softer language. At one time, the interim administration led by Getachew Reda and General Tsadkan said they would work with the federal government to address these issues. Today, Getachew Reda and General Tsadkan are working with the Abiy government. Mr. Jawar Mohammed continues to avoid confronting the full truth. I also believe he played a role in promoting hostility toward Tigrayans. History will judge the actions of everyone involved, and when the facts are fully established, I believe those who contributed to hatred or violence should be held accountable.
