yesterday the lay liturgist in my church decided to read the third stanza of a hymn after we had sung the first two thinking we’d jump to the last which is the fourth. We still went ahead and sung the third and fourth😂😂

It is not the music directors and the choristers faults , is always the Stewards and Clergies who like pressuring the them about time so they should cut off some songs and verses. For me if you are a Minister and you don’t inform us during rehearsals to cut off some songs then on the day of service you tell us to cut off I won’t even mind you at all. This is not disrespect but you let the choristers rehearse for long hours on Saturdays then you come on Sunday and cut off songs. Osofo for this one we agree with you.

Sometimes is the time and also activities involved in the service. It sometimes warrant liturgist cutting some of the hymns. Hymns selection are not also selected by the society but from connection

announcement tententen!....😭 Some Rev. and stewards won't allow the congregation to sing the hymn fully oo.. 🤷🏿♂️especially communion hymns.

I like this man soo much. Ministers and liturgists who read through the hymns while we sing must also stop. They should allow the congregation sing through the hymns by themselves
