AND for those saying they never talked Jennifer says “can I borrow your English homework again” which shows they had obviously interacted before I’ve already mentioned Colin saying they’d been getting along in class and Jennifer saying she’d been sending him signals all year, so there was something between them that made Colin like her besides her looks

It wasn’t even just that he got rejected, she was intimidating him and being bitchy because he had the audacity to be interested in her. I understand that he didn’t make the date something that she would enjoy but i don’t see anything wrong with trying to introduce her to something he’s interested in. And then after getting shot down, she offered an alternative and he said yes. Crazy.
