I agree with him, he was not blessing same sex he was blessing the gay person because their humanity not for their sins, and as Christians who are we to curse a gay person? we should not curse but bless, they are human just as much as I am, I have fallen to sin and I do evils even as a Christian so if a Christian in knowing my evils can bless me why not a gay person?

The blessing is given to the person as an individual, not as an approval of everything in that person’s life or of the union itself. Every one of us is a sinner in different ways, and every one of us is still loved by God. We should not single out LGBT people as though they are the only ones who struggle with sin. We all need God’s mercy, grace, and conversion. When someone receives a blessing, it does not necessarily mean that God is blessing sin. It can simply be a prayer that God stays close to that person, guides them, gives them grace, and leads them closer to Him. We never know what God may be doing in someone’s heart. A blessing may even become part of that person’s journey towards repentance and a deeper relationship with God. God loves the person. His mercy is for everyone. Loving and praying for someone does not mean that we have to call every action right.

Christians who demonize and judge homosexuals are putting themselves in an even worse position than those with that sin. Jesus said to Love Unconditionally. Hate and reject Sin doesn’t mean hate people. Jesus never chastised those who did t want to follow Him. He chastised the leaders of Judaism because they were so busy with structure and standing that they couldn’t see grace.
