treating animals with respect even when we know we are gonna eat them is just pure human decency. I think of it this way, when we put someone on death row for being evil we give them one last meal because they deserve to experience just little bit happiness before they get put down. animals are pure and there is no such thing as good and evil its just life. so they deserve to live happily before they die by our hand
