An author was showcasing his book at Half Priced Books. I asked about it and he said it was about a man who is married and has a kid. the wife cheats, they divorce and he goes through single dad struggles while meeting another single father and becoming great friends. he said he wrote this when he and his ex wife first had their son. I told him he manifested that. I will never forget the 1000 yard stare and he will probably never forget me.

Most messed up? I told one of my dying aunts that heaven was just the sky, and if anything were to happen to her, we can just probably spot her ghost and capture it. When I was asked why I would say this, I responded with “Ghostbusters has taught me a lot about capturing things that are unwanted.” I wasn’t allowed TV for a whole month after she died.
