Another aspect is the Employment Criteria in South Africa 🇿🇦... Many of us from 45-50+ can't get jobs because we are considered too old to work, yet we have more experience than most youngsters!!! My point is that not all of us can afford to sit at home unemployed, we still need to work because we are the breadwinners... We have young kids and living expenses to provide for. Are we supposed to just curl up and die? We can't get funding for businesses because we don't make the cut. What if we can't run a business and can only work for someone? I'm really baffled about this strategy as we with tons of experience are left out to hang!!! We want to work, earn our own money 😞

So true we can't survive. My kids aren't aloud to send me a sent. They check out banks to see what xstra money we get. I can't survive on R2400 a month that's less than my elec bill a month. Ridiculous we need a huge increase. 💜💜

R448/prisoner includes all costs (buildings, security, food tenders, etc). Halving the foreign prisoners, won't make a significant cut in costs since most is fixed. I am a pensioner myself and sympathise with my fellow countrymen. SASSA sucks, but government mismanagement and corruption is the major contributors to where we find ourselves 🤷🙆

I support your initiative Mam. It’s really a disgrace on how they treat the elderly. What does that mean for us who are currently paying our taxes diligently? Will we also be shunned one day? R2400 is a joke. While they abuse their privilege today.

question, show me where it costs a prisoner over 13k a month, have u seen what the prisoners eat, pap and sauce, or rice and sauce, 4 slices of bread, dry bread, not always butter, the food that u see them with, is what their families bring them. so ask the government, where is that money and what is it been used for
