Failing to poll the jury was a huge mistake IMO too! Red asked for it Judge Sullivan declined. If 11 wanted NG and the hold out was for NG lack of criminal responsibility. Wouldn’t they mean they collectively knew she was NG. Declining to check for partial verdicts was a HUGE mistake, IMO. Reddington asked, and Massachusetts law allowed it. Why do you in your gut think the judge and DA Cruz allowed any of this. It’s hard to think there’s not something more nefarious going on considering everything in the case collectively.. like if all the women of the Internet are actually crazy for believing the conspiracies. Please tell us that. Or if we are seeing it for what it is, please tell us that too.

that one male juror made a lot of money, directly or indirectly on Polymarket! this is how the american justice works now! and the MA Supreme Court judge is as bad as Sullivan! how is it possible that one juror who refused to follow the law has more power then 11 jurors who follow the law?

Do you have thoughts on Sullivan’s choices in this. It feels like the jury was begging for help and he left them out to dry. Yet another system failing Lindsay and her children.

my partner (public defender) used to use an alarm clock anaology for explaining reasonable doubt. imagine you have to get up in the morning for an important event. Do you double check that you set the alarm clock correctly, right before you go to bed? If so, that’s reasonable doubt. as a non-lawyer, i really love clear analogies that get people out of their heads and into their gut sense when considering what reasonable doubt feels like.

This case is not that simple. The “not criminal responsible” is complicated. Like I have reasonable doubt about her being psychotic at the time BUT I have no doubt she could control herself and she knew the consequences of her actions. Therefore I would have stick by the guilty vote if I was that juror. 🤷♀️I think those jurors didn’t understand that being psychotic doesnt automatically mean not criminally responsible…

How are they going to be able to even pick a new jury if/when they retry? I feel like it’s basically impossible to find anyone who has no prior knowledge of this case and hasn’t formed opinions.
