Genuine question.. is it allowed for the wife to ask for divorce in this kind of situation? My husband is like this when I try to bring things up he says he is the man and I am the woman and have nothing to say but he does not even provide for the basics like the housing… I try so hard but I am tired to make it work with him for six years now. Some good women still for the sake Allah accept the man regardless of finances and choose to love him and honour him, live with his family, make so many adjustments and sacrifices to be taken for granted by the man. When a woman asks for not material things because she understands his finances but only for her husbands time and affection but he only thinks about himself and expects her to deal with it, not be “too needy”
