Not every relationship comes with a dream, a vision, or a dramatic “the moment I saw her, I knew.” Sometimes, after you pray, fast, and seek God’s will, you still have to use your faculty and choose wisely. Prayer does not cancel thinking. Seeking God’s will does not mean abandoning your judgment. Don’t try to sound deep by saying, “I’m just waiting for God to speak.” God can lead you and He also expects you to think well enough to pick well.
