It’s been over 30 years since I’ve had a baby but the things I absolutely HAD to have (ESPECIALLY if she tears or has an episiotomy/stitches) were a can of Dermaplast and container of Tucks! The Dermaplast is numbing and the Tucks go between you and the pad to keep the stitches or wound from sticking to the pad and ripping. I also let the nurses stock me up with the ice pack pads. They were very bulky and now apparently you can buy them and they’re not awkward and bulky like the ones I had. I know you said “nothing Frida brand” which I’d never heard of but there are other brands too. But those 3 things were an absolute LIFESAVER for my postpartum recovery with my last two babies that were VBacks.🙏🏼❤️🩹❤️
