One lady said, “you only cared when the children were murdered, why dont you care about the mother?” Because SHE IS A SELF ADMITTED MURDERER?!?!? She admitted to it, and admitted to planning it prior to the event! Thats first degree murder..

the jury wasn't sequestered. i find it very hard to believe they all judged just based on evidence and weren't swayed by media and social media narratives

the 1 holdout came forward saying they believe the 11 were not obtained from media influence and had influence on their verdicts

Reddington comments after this trial seem unethical. Not condemning the conspiracy theories of Patrick and him villifying this juror.

How a juror votes is based on his/her opinion of the evidence and if it is beyond a reasonable doubt, so if that one juror had an opinion that the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that she is guilty then he is entitled to that opinion. That is why it takes all 12 in agreement to get a complete verdict.

Honestly this whole case was a disaster and a mistrial might have been the best outcome. No matter what way the verdict would have been sided, we clearly have people thinking that's wrong. I'm not really sure why this case needed media attention as I knew nothing about it till this last week.

If it’s legal for a jury to nullify a guilty verdict when it’s proven beyond reasonable doubt, why would he not be allowed to stop a NG or NGRI verdict even if he does have “reasonable doubt”

IMO 12 should be needed to convict but only 10 to acquit

Is someone able to please explain what this hold out is for? I haven't been following very well admittedly, so is it a good thing that it was a mistrial? Why was this one dude holding out?
