so alcoholism runs very strongly on my father’s side of the family, back several generations documented. This includes both my father and my brother (he unfortunately just posed away from alcoholism at only 34). Pices is my 3rd house and it’s empty along with my 2nd house. Saturn is my chart ruler and it’s in my 12th house. I have wondered how addiction might show up in charts given my family history.

I have an 8H Jupiter in Pisces but it’s 20° - it’s square my 11H Gemini sun/mercury, trine my 12H Cancer Venus, and sextile my 6H Capricorn mars. My dad was a Leo rising (like me), Virgo sun, Cancer moon.

Pisces rising at 7 degrees… but also sun in Aquarius at 6 degrees in the 12th house (also wondering if a point in early degrees in 12th house could be a signifier, especially if it’s the sun??) Anyways, yes, father is a functional alcoholic with alcoholism running in his side of the family

I haven’t read my dads birth chart but he was a Pisces and a religious fanatic so I think that was his addition to deal with childhood trauma and would guess he’s an early degree Pisces

i have saturn in 11'09" degree pisces and my father is a reformed alcoholic. he was one for most of my childhood. I'm a Libra rising, so Saturn rules my 4th and 5th house, idk what you mean by signifier for father. it's a day chart.

Don’t have anything in Pisces, have some other indicators of my alcoholic father. Like Neptune in 4th, oh and it is co-present with ruler of Pisces - Jupiter in 4th, but I don’t think that my Jupiter works that way.

yeah I do and yes he is. he is not that bad tho, I would say that the alcoholism of my aunt that I also grew up with had much bigger influence on me (like he is quite functioning in his addiction, my aunt really f me up tho) my grandad from his side was an alcoholic too and one of my cousins drunk himself to an early grave at 37
