Jesus and whatnot is right because it is a rapid chemical reaction which is called combustion that releases stored energy.

“Does fire cause heat” is such a stupid question that’s just like saying “does ice cause cold”😭 just ask if fire is hot

Yes, fire causes heat because it is a rapid chemical reaction called combustion that releases stored energy. Is the answer you will get if you ask google, does fire cause heat?

Fire comes from heat bro

Is everyone here losing their minds bro… heat is a property and effect of fire. Fire causes heat to rise therefore fire causes heat. Heat CAN ALSO go into causing fire. If you rub 2 sticks it causes friction, which causes heat, which causes fire

She’s literally right. Heat is the average kinetic energy of the atoms that make up a substance. His question doesn’t even make sense

Just because something is hot it doesn’t mean it causes heat. Cold fire exists. She’s right.

“she’s right” she’s objectively false, fire does cause heat fire is the exothermic chemical reaction, and heat is the energy being thrown out by that reaction

She’s right. Fire doesn’t cause heat if you want to be technical about it. The chemical reaction between organic hydrocarbons and oxygen releases heat and light but the fire itself is a byproduct just like the heat is. But the important distinction is fire is not defined by heat and the organic oxygen-hydrocarbon reaction producing orange fire, there are other types of flames produced by other reactions that aren’t even hot. But I will admit if someone asks this question, saying no is a little provocative and petty.
