As someone who works in oncology, please please get your regular exams, also please make sure you do self examinations. Do not let anyone tell you that you do not know what’s going on with your own bodies. Cancer does not discriminate, it does not care how old or young you are.

Ugh this is my sign, my mom aunt and 2 first cousins all had it (my mom and her sister got it twice, mom just went into remission last week !) they don’t have brca but no way there’s nothing genetic there???

Knowledge is power! I have it too. I also lost it when hearing- it’s just like an emotion that takes over you and there’s no preparing. You’ll be monitored extra! My mom and grandpa had it too, but now with IVF I’ve removed it from my family line!

My aunt died of ovarian cancer and my other aunt got breast cancer and had to have her breast tissue removed and got a hysterectomy. Please take the diagnosis seriously. They both had the gene.
