the ruling is not fair. what would have happened if the ru nerve twisted. broke, or did something else to his knees. the runner had no time to slow down when the child suddenly appeared. you're suing the runner but not the mother????? where was she when her son ran onto the track???? maybe the child didn't know the rules about the track. but the mother did. THE RUNNER SHOULDN'T PAY A DIME TO THIS FAMILY BECAUSE THEY DIDNT WATCH THEIR CHILD. as a runner running as fast as he can to win the race, HE COULDN'T SLOW DOWN!!!!!! THIS IS NOT THE RUNNERS FAULT, THE FAULT GOES TO THE NEGLIGENT MOTHER FOR ALLOWING HER CHILD TO VENTURE OUT ONTO THE TRACK. WHERE IS HER RESPONSIBILITY IN ALL THIS ????? IT'S JUST NOT FAIR. THE JUDGE IS 100% WRONG IN THIS CASE.
