I dropped sun eater half way through the second book. the MC was just Holden Caulfield in space. I couldn't stand catcher in the rye, didn't think it was any better with aliens

Sun eater hate is outrageous, it is by far one the best book series oat each book is a journey each book is lifetime each book gives a different vibe and sets higher stakes but it is always balanced. It Has most themes and excels in them, i seldom remember any series giving me the feelings i had when read sun eater

Suneater is just sci-fi catcher in the rye 😒 I dropped it after bros duel with that one guy at the beginning of the second book. Everybody says he eventually returns to being a badass like when he was a gladiator but omggg he just wont stop bitchin 😫😫

if you aren't into the politics and the immense task of world building a setting that takes place across the ENTIRE GALAXY, then sun eater isn't for you. I think it's quite enjoyable
